PREVIOUS ORCHESTRAL CONCERTS

2023

  • 25th June: Performance at Kinross Wolaroi School, ‘At the Movies’, saw upwards of 250 adults in the audience plus many students who had free admission. On stage were 55 top musicians, including 6 french horns led by the legendary Campbell Barnes. The players really enjoyed being conducted by Monica Buckland.

    Laith Ismail’s rendition of Gabriel’s Oboe from ‘The Mission’ had the audience in tears as they left the concert hall raving about the wonderful program.


2022

  • 20th February: Performance at the Orange Civic Theatre, featuring ‘Hebrides Overtures’ Mendelssohn, ‘Sketches of Notre Dame’ Annet, ‘Sinfonia Concertante’ Mozart and ‘Symphony No. 6 (The Pastoral)’ Beethoven. Conducted by Carlo Antonioli. Soloists: Lisa Stewart & Stefan Duwe of the Acacia Quartet

  • 19th September: Performance at the Orange Civic Theatre, featuring ‘Hebrides Overtures’ Mendelssohn, ‘Sketches of Notre Dame’ Annet, ‘Sinfonia Concertante’ Mozart and ‘Symphony No. 6 (The Pastoral)’ Beethoven.   • 14th June: Performance at the Orange Regional Conservatorium, featuring Beethoven’s 6th Symphony (The Pastoral), Plus two compositions: 1. ‘Sketches of Notre Fame’ by Noel Annett and 2. ‘Reflections of a Red Moon’ by Spanish composer, David Centenary Morate. Conducted by Ben Macpherson OAM


2019

  • 3rd November: Performance at Kinross Wolaroi, Willoughby Choir, Allegri Singers, KWS Koristers and Orange Symphonic Choir Collaboration Concert. Conducted by Bill Moxey featuring Karl Jenkins The Armed Man, “A Mass for the Peace”.

  • 2nd November: Performance at the All Saints Cathedral, Willoughby Choir, Allegri Singers, KWS Koristers and Orange Symphonic Choir Collaboration Concert. Conducted by Bill Moxey featuring Karl Jenkins The Armed Man, “A Mass for the Peace”.

  • 4th August: Performance at the Orange Civic Theatre, OSO and CCCO Collaboration Concert. Conducted by Carlo Antonioli, featuring Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with Soloist Andrew Baker, and Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony.

  • 19th May: Performance at the Orange Regional Conservatorium featuring works from local composers, Amy Stevens, Bill Martin, Cameron Lam and Melanie Cother-McDonnell. Conducted by Ben Macpherson.


2018

  • 25th November: Performance at the Orange Regional Conservatorium, Handel’s Messiah conducted by Ben Macpherson with soloists Samantha Bartholomeusz, Narelle Hissey, Michael Butchard & William Moxey.

  • 3rd June: Performance at the Orange Regional Conservatorium, OSO and CCCO Collaboration Concert. Conducted by Carlo Antonioli, featuring Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9 and world premiere of Amy Stevens’ Sanctus Somnus.


2017

  • 19th November: Performance at the Orange Regional Conservatorium of WA Mozart's Requiem Mass. Conducted by Ben Macpherson with soloists  Narelle Hissey, Samantha Bartholemeusz, William Moxey and Nathan Bryon.

  • 28th April: Performance at the Orange Regional Conservatorium Choral Gala with piano soloist Luke Moxey in Beethoven's Choral Fantasy.
